Five-Hundred Word Challenge 387: It Goes a Little Like This

Alright, so I’m going to tell you all about a little story.

wait… tell you all about a story?

I’m going to tell you all a story.

It goes a little like this:

Well, actually, it goes a lot like the way that I’m going to say it, as that is the way the story is told.

well, told from my point of view.

Who is to say that from someone else it wouldn’t go a little differently?

There is every possibility that it would. Such is the way of the oral narrative as it is passed down form person to person, although this is a written narrative and I do not know if I have unique enough of a voice to give it my own spin. I’m sure that there would be some way that it would go differently when written by someone else compared to me, but I imagine that my own account of this story would be very similar to plenty someone else’s version as I’m fairly certain that my voice lacks the strength and integrity to give it the clout that it needs in order to make sure that what you are reading is something that is written in a way that you may have not read before.

I think that makes sense.

then again, I think a lot of things.

A lot of things I think in order to get to a story that will be written down that goes a little something like the way that I will tell it, but it may lose all of its narrative cohesion that allows it to be a story and will probably end up some garbled mess that cannot be easily understood.

I think.

I think that perhaps I am overthinking the whole thing and instead I need to work toward making sure that the story that I provide will be something that goes a little similarly to the way that it was originally written, if it ever was written at all.

I think.

I think that I am also trying to take up time in order to improve my writing whilst dealing with things at the same time, such as trying to get the words down and trying to make sure that this is coherent.

I think that I need to give up giving up coffee.

If I do truly think that, then perhaps that can come some other day. Right now is not the time. It is far too late in the day for me to have a coffee without having some effects that I do not want to deal with, such as the significant amount of being awake that I would have to endure for a few hours before inevitably crashing down.

so anyway, I have a story, I’m going to tell the story and the story will be told through the medium of text in order to let you read and visualise the images conjured by the text.

It goes like this…

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 05:49:73

the actual intent was to rant, but then instead I decided to try and write a story which lead to this meandering tangent.

Wonderfully bloated.
