Another Shot of Anderson .Paak

Here’s another shot of Anderson .Paak. Not sure as to why I’ve only shared one here before this one, but that’s not important.

Something I really liked about this gig is how animated Anderson .Paak was. He made good use of the stage and overall his performance felt quite passionate.

This particular shot shows Anderson .Paak behind a drum set which he’d occasionally hop onto and play with as much passion as he would move around the stage and sing.

This isn’t the clearest of photos when it comes to showing how he would perform, but I think that at the very least it feels much like an “artistic” capturing of a performer playing passionately.

This photo was taken for Culture Eater. You can find a review of Anderson Paak’s performance here and the corresponding gallery here. Please go check them out, as well as the other stuff that our contributors are contributing.

This is my submission into the one hundred-and-thirteenth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

The theme for this one is “A Labor of Love“.
I’m including this photo for the challenge as, quite often music is a labour of love, even when someone becomes successful.

The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:

Week 1 – Patti

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya

Week 3 – Amy

Week 4 – Tina

This one is hosted guest-hosted by Rusha Sams of Oh the Places We See. Next week’s is hosted by Amy.

I recommend checking out how people are interpreting the challenges. I also recommend joining in. It’s a growing, fun community.

I hope you enjoy.

  2. You couldn’t have hit the challenge topic on the head any more squarely than when you wrote “quite often music is a labour of love.” Music is most definitely a labor of love — so much goes into the composition, interpretation, and performance of it. Thanks for including that dynamic silhoutte as well. And thanks for contributing to this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. Your support is much appreciated!
