Here are some photos I took shortly after attending Sculpture by the Sea at the end of October.
I was walking along with a friend when we had the opportunity to get closer to the ocean to take photos.
After taking some photos, I put on my raincoat, sat on a rock and took photos of waves before they would hit me.
I didn’t get too wet (luckily), and it was a fun experience.
I will upload more another time, but for now these are being submitted for this week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post.
The theme is “Transition” and whilst I don’t believe these are the best pictures that could convey that, I do think they still convey it well.
These (kind of) remind me of a flower blooming.
I like the shape of the spray quite a lot. It’s chaotic, but also magnificent and beautiful.
I hope you enjoy.

Very nicely done! Loved it!

Cheers 🙂
I could have represented the blooming I saw better if I had taken the best shots of different waves and put them all together (as there are some that were much bigger and striking than the last here), but as these three shots were of the same wave, I feel it’s more consistent with the theme and still shows what I saw pretty well.

I can understand your dilemma. It’s always difficult to choose from among the best shots. But these very nicely show the transition 🙂 Once again, very good work. Cheers 🙂
