Near the start of the bushwalk I did from Mount Kuring-gai to Berowra, I saw this rock fracture.
Considering the size of the rock (it was massive), it’s a rather “Narrow” gap.
I’m not entirely certain, but I don’t think you get to see a rock fracture this deep and smooth in appearance that often, although that probably has to do with ongoing weathering.
I imagine that this fracture occurred a very long time ago.
I think it’s interesting to see the different colours, patterns and shapes that you can find among rocks.

Yeah.
I think it might be part of a bigger one, as I saw a fracture on the same rock over 20 metres further back.
