Some two-bit Poetry

Here’s something I just knocked out.

Not sure if it’s worth reading, or if it’s even poetic, but it’s here and that’s something.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Watching the crumbling rock slowly trace its way down a face
Seeing the grass on the hill follow the wind that runs through it
The air is thinner than that found at the roads of the city
Clouds hang above in the sky and flow as though to poorly imitate water
Yet seem to be smoother in motion and bring a a sense of calm to the view
Listening for sounds that are as natural as the world that belong to them
And somehow finding that most, if not all are a delicacy for the ear
Not so much that time has stood still as it, like the clouds, continues to move forward
But  for a while, at least, there is some sort of reprieve from that which would rush us
Watching the shadows move in conjunction with the sun
The time required to move may be soon, but for now there is none

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
