Soaring

An Ibis flies high to reach a branch on which to land.

I think that this photo shows the form of an ibis in part of its flight quite well.
I think that it was getting close to landing at this point.

I like the amount of negative space around the Ibis as it makes the attention go completely to the ibis.

To me, the part of the shot that the ibis is in seems to suggest that it still has a fair way to go before it reaches its destination and the angle suggests that it is quite high up in the air, moving gracefully and quickly.
