Morning Cityscape

These were taken during a weekend walk to work a few weeks ago.

I was passing through Darling Harbour at the time and decided to get photos of a spot I’d taken photos of before (albeit at a different angle) to see how if my abilities had improved, as well as to see how the 5DMkIV captured the photos compared to the 60D.

I think it’s fair to say that the 5DMkIV did a better job than myself.

I think that there’s a nice contrast between the light, nature-based sky and the darker, urban development of the city.

The city seems so rigid and the sky seems to be flowing and graceful.

I like that in the second shot the buildings are at leash caught between the sky and the trees, but even then the trees seem to only be there with permission.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
