Bounding Through the Water

A photo of a dog getting wet.

Someone would throw a ball and the dog would go after it which meant bounding into the water and then swimming after the ball.

I like the form of the dog in this photo. You can’t quite its movement, but you get a strong impression of how the dog is moving.

Water around it is fanning out  as it is displaced as there’s a bit of force and energy in the dog’s motion. It contrasts well with the low waves in the rest of the shot. There are two forms of disturbance, but one is more obvious than the other.

I hope you enjoy.

  1. This is an amazing photo! I love the contrast between the calm water and the dog. It reminds me of how my own dog runs through water.
