Satellite Among Cirrocumulus

A photo taken from my backyard.

The afternoon saw what appeared to be a vivid sunset approaching. Alas, the fence was too large to be able to capture its full splendour. Though, that said the houses surely would have obscured the colourful display regardless.

There were plenty of nice clouds above and so many a photo I took, with this of course being but one of them, and so on.

What I like about this photo is how small it makes the moon appear. The clouds don’t look massive, but the moon seems so small in comparison.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s photo challenge.

Leanne’s now merged two photo challenges that she runs. The theme for this one is “The Moon”.

I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit into the challenge.

You can find the challenges here.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
