From Bush to Buildings

What I like about this photo is how parts of the background are covered, yet strongly suggested.

To be fair, it’s mostly water, but I do like the effect.

The clouds appear massive and the city small.

The plants are not quite vibrant, but rather striking in their contrast against the urban landscape.

I also like how far from the main part of Sydney CBD the Sydney Harbour Bridge appears.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s photo challenge for this week.

The theme for this one is “Bridges”.

Whilst not the most prominent feature of the photo, I think the Sydney Harbour Bridge makes this photo count.

I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit into the challenge.

You can find the challenges here.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
