Work on the Bay

Not sure as to what work is being conducted. It may have to do with redeveloping The Sydney Fish Market.

Anyway, here is a view of some of Blackwattle Bay.

I think that most of this photo is rather even, sort of routine-type stuff if that makes sense.
Despite some sort of visible construction work, this is a mostly calm scene.

The old pylons invoke images of how this area once appeared whilst also keeping in mind the process of redevelopment.

I think that Crown Sydney, feeling very much like a testament to hubris and exploiting gambling addiction really hurts the feel of this scene.
Unsurprisingly it draws a lot of attention due to how away from everything else it is, as well as its height.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
