One listen for this one.
I just went for it, so to speak, and wrote whatever came forward. There was a bit of thinking, however, but due to how the song is paced I don’t think it had too much of an impact.
Overall I think some parts of this are alright and some are really flat. It’s definitely better than some of the things I’ve written, but it could still be better than it is, I think
2814’s “Transference” is from Rain Temple.
I hope you enjoy.

A shimmering of sound along a lengthy, drawn out moment of clarity. Percussion drips in precises spots and the sounds keep moving through this open space. It could be closed and instead just painting a scene of sorts, and maybe it is as the calm shrinks away for a moment before it comes back with more beat.
In that beat it seems as though bass is peeling off, and other sounds seem to echo a little, though maybe they are not echoing but rather are detached and trying to find a way to take form in the reality that the sounds present.
Some sound moves away whilst other is revealed, or at least made more obvious. Arpeggiating keys move steadily and carefully. They move through the space afforded to them and it seems slow, and maybe it is. They take more focus as more sound disappears before coming into full once more.
The bass peels off the beat and the space is fuller. It is widening with sound; it is expanding. It is growing through the keys becoming busier and other sounds altering how the melody feels.
All continue moving through, moving back and forth and something airy lingers for a moment, and the sounds continue their movement. They continue moving on a moment they formed, and eventually they start pulling away once more.
This time around they don’t come back. The space grows more sparse, and it shimmers. It shimmers and fades, leaving the sound of wind at the song’s end.
