Ryota Kozuka: Contact with the Qadištu β

One listen.

With this one I feel the same as the last, though I think I did a better job of getting across an idea of the song. Slightly less overreach.

Ryota Kozuka’s (小塚良太) “Contact with the Qadištu β” (“カディシュトゥとの接触 β”) is from Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK, the soundtrack for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.

I hope you enjoy.

A dampened striking as sounds draw out, curving down and up at their tips, and also going forward. Something starts curling around the structure, and in this dark a menace permeates.

The curling disappears and now keys talk their place whilst another introduced set of sound punctuates the structure’s end. The keys lower and the menace keeps pressing forward and spreading out. It is a foreboding element, and it seems to suggest being unstoppable.

The sounds remain low; they don’t jump out into the exceptional obvious, and they continue on until the final note is reached and the song ends.
