Dark Beside a Bright Moon

I took this photo after reaching the photo limit for toe. I was walking around on Manning Bar’s balcony, tried to get a photo of this building with the moon, fudged it. Probably would’ve worked better with a tripod, but I tried to save the image and that save didn’t quite work, but I like the result.

It was a bright moon and it wasn’t enough light, and the end result is something that… I guess feels gothic? I don’t know. It’s vague and ominous, and perhaps verbose, but I think it works.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.

Participating is pretty straightforward and something I recommend. If you do, then include the tag “monochrome-madness” in your post. If not participating, then at the least check out Leanne’s photography as well as what other people submit.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
