Zuntata: nonsensecodon

One listen.

I had to force myself into writing this morning, and I don’t think that’s a good thing. It might be a sign of sorts. I don’t know.

Anyway, this was a struggle. The song has a lot to draw from but I didn’t have much of anything coming to mind.

Zuntata’s “nonsensecodon” is from G-Darius‘ soundtrack, G-Darius Original Arcade Score.

I hope you enjoy.

Something creaks, like a door opening. Percussive rings and pitter-patters, and soon bass comes in. Strikes above it form additional melody, a pause and suddenly a turn in flashes before resuming. There’s this organic, calm, and yet tense, energetic feel going on.

The flow continues naturally, and soon those flashes come back for a moment. Everything continues on before another pause for those flashes, and once resuming once more the sounds seem to go without much change, suddenly climbing before going as though before again. They continue on, painting nature and something otherworldly before another strike stopping everything at the song’s end
