Five-Hundred Word Challenge 693: Cold and Warm
One is cold and the other is warm and there is no transference of temperatures between the two. Not really a big thing at the end of the day, but of course like many things that feel a bit weird, … Continue reading
Guitarist Motion
This is the first photo I took during the MONO gig at The Metro where the slower shutter speed worked out quite well, I think. It was taken during Meniscus’ set. I think there is a strong sense of motion … Continue reading

Drifting Night Clouds
Last night I headed on out to a field near where I live. It had been a while since I’d done anything with a lengthy long exposure. It had also been a while since I’d last spent a lot of … Continue reading
Driving Past the Halo
I was walking out of Central Park a few weeks ago when I took this photo. I was hoping that the car wouldn’t get across (I think) and it did and it lead to this result. I like how the … Continue reading

Moving Walkway
This was taken on the recent weekend. I was playing around with long exposures in a moving walkway. I like how all the lines stretch and blur , yet still leave a strong impression of the shape of the walkway … Continue reading

Mind the Gap
I took this shot whilst I was waiting for a train at Newtown Station. I think that, due to the angle, the pattern in the blur is captured quite well. There’s a feeling of the train rushing past faster than … Continue reading

Departing from Erskineville Station
Recently I found myself once again in Erskineville, so once again I took some photos whilst I was there. I like the contrasting light levels, as well as the blur of the train despite it not going that fast when … Continue reading

Following the Curve
Here’s another long exposure taken outside of Erskineville Station. When I took this, I wanted to try and capture a train from a different angle. I would like to believe that I was successful in this endeavor. I think that … Continue reading

Trees and Stars
Yet another photo that I took when attempting astral photography. I like how the stars are a bit blurred from moving in the sky, as well as how it looks to be somewhat lit up. I also like the lighting … Continue reading
