Pre Order Problems

Earlier on in the year, I pre ordered a special edition of an album I wanted.
It was roughly $100 for the special edition. The shipping? Also $100.
It never arrived.

The first thing I did, after waiting a month from when I was notified that it was being shipped, was contact the the company that was meant to deliver the album. Before this, I had found out that it was listed as being delievered a few weeks prior. However, no one had seen the album arrive and there was someone home at the time of delivery.

The shipping company told me in a very poor manner that they had done their job and to take it up with the company I ordered the album from.

I contacted the company and received no response from them.
I sent a follow up email two weeks after that, again with no response.
It tookalmost two months of emailing them periodically before they sent me an email that asked me to rate the customer experience.

I then also received a proper response asking me to confirm the shipping address.
I provided them with one, only to find out that the company had no more special edition packages left.

I probably should’ve kept better track of the shipping at the start, but I gave it a month due to the general shipping times from America to my place.

In the end, I was refunded what I paid, which is good, but I’m going to avoid using either company in the future.
