The weekend ended with a death scare for me.

There’s a couple I’ve known for a number of years now. They’re good friends of mine and have seen me experience a fair bit.

Sadly I hadn’t spoken to them for a while due to life being life.

Yesterday I was on Facebook when I saw a post from one of them advising the other had passed away.

I was pretty shocked at first, then somewhat suspicious. So were others.
Then it was confirmed.

I was sad. I was said for his partner and family. I was sad I wouldn’t be able to talk to him again.

I spoke to Naa about it later who talked some sense into me and said I should call my friends and make sure, so I did.

The sense of relief was massive.

Both of their Facebook accounts had been compromised, as well as other things they used online.

Not good, but much better news than hearing that a friend had, indeed passed away.
