Open Urban Space

Another photo taken whilst at Darling Harbour.

Whilst exploring around with my friend from Queensland, we came across this area.

I’m not sure as to why it is as open as it is, but I found it to be refreshing to be in such an open area despite how plain it appears.

Perhaps events are held there on occasion.

I thought I processed this in colour as well as monochrome, but I’m guessing I didn’t.

I think that in monochrome this shot looks slightly intense.

It’s most likely due to how I’ve processed with monochrome as the contrast for tone is yhe dominant feature, I think.

I don’t mind.

I do like how the clouds engulf the sky and that the buildings are mostly in silhouette.

I also like the pattern of the ground.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
