Screen

Whilst I was walking around Darling Harbour with my friend from Queensland we came across this screen. It had a lot of information moving across at a rather high speed.

I decided to come back on an evening with my tripod and get a long exposure, with the result being seen below.

What was being displayed had changed when I returned. The information was much slower and would cycle through a few different things.

I like that the information has blurred into light and the image that is moving across doesn’t appear as to how it did on the night.

I tried to get a perspective where this looked like it was coming from really far away. I don’t think it worked as well as I hoped, but I still like how the angle still affected the image.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.
The first Monochrome Madness of each month is themed, with this one being “Movement or Moving”.

I recommend that you check out what other people are submitting and perhaps consider submitting something yourself.
I also recommend checking out Leanne Cole’s other work.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
