First Light

The morning is greeted by the colours of the early morning.

This was taken on the last morning of the field trip on the turtle island.

I needed to make use of the tripod as I had brought it along with me to use, and so I did in the process of taking this photo, as well as others.

A long exposure that probably could have been longer.

I do like the slight motion drift in them, as well as the slight silhouette of the islands and the strength of the colour in the sky.

I think that this all gives the impression of a waking world. I think.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

Beautiful shot – I’m not a morning person and don’t get to see as many sunrises as I should.

    Thanks for sharing.
