Air Conditioning

This was taken whilst I was wandering about on a lunch break.

I had been down this alley a few times beforehand, but had never taken a good look around.

I can’t remember as to what it was that lead me to looking up, but looking up is what lead to this photo.

Perhaps the photo is a little too bright (It was one of the test shots with the new camera), but I do like how the light does contrast with the shadows.

The shadows are elongated due to the position of the sun and, thanks to the angle and positioning of the air conditioning units, the elongated shadows seems to spread out in some slightly different angles instead of following a rigid direction.

I think.

This is my entry into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.

I recommend checking it out and considering submitting if you are a photographer.
It’s a fun event driven both by Leanne Cole and the small community that participates.

I also recommend that you check out Leanne Cole‘s work outside of Monochrome Madness.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
