This is my third attempt at writing today. My third attempt. I don’t want to write about something that happened to one of my colleagues as it a bit of a sad thing (he’s fine, but it’s something that affects him outside of work). At the moment I don’t want to write something that is sad. I want tow rite something that is celebratory of life, so here goes:

Shit things happen all the time, but it’s part of what makes life worth living.

Well, that’s all I have at the moment.

Soon the day of work will be over and I will be making my way home. My thoughts are on my friend who is experiencing something that is pretty saddening. He will be fine once it all passes, but what he has to deal with is one of those sobering things.

At the end of the day,. all I can do is console him as much as I can, so long as he wants consolation.

Well, I can also listen to him and continue being his friend.

Sometimes I wonder as to what the point of it all is. It seems that we want to find meaning where there is none at times, but that doesn’t mean that the pursuit of this kind of non-existent knowledge is necessarily a bad thing. It can really make life a lot more enjoyable than we would like to believe at times.

The universe is an uncaring thing and there probably isn’t any meaning, but we should still go out there and experience things and live our lives to the fullest where we can. There are times when we should rest on our laurels. You need a break form time to time. However, that doesn’t mean that we should try and live full lives.

There’s too much time spent working on jobs we don’t like and whilst this is sometimes a necessary thing, it’s too easy to spend the rest of our entirety being in places we don’t like and then end up living lives we don’t want to live.

There’s not always room to do what you want, but you have to where you can, so long as it does not come to the harm of others around you.

That’s pretty much all I have at the moment.
