A couple of days ago I went to Sculpture by the Sea to take photos.

It was an overcast morning.
Well, for a few hours it was.

Anyway…

There were a number of surfers out.
I guess they were surfing, or something.

I like how the low levels of fog make some objects appear to be a bit vague.
I also like how the overcast sky makes this area feel a bit more contained without reducing how vast and massive it appears.

I think that the waves work well with the surfers, as there’s a sense of anticipation that is added to the photo.
