Five-Hundred Word Challenge 514: Pull From the Winds

There is much to pull from the winds as the sails fill with then. There is a direction in which we shall be pushed and we must follow the path that is set out before us. Who knows where it will lead?

Across the ocean as we are dragged along over waves and sometimes over flats. The wind leads us to where we need to be taken until the wind decides that that is no longer something that is required to happen, in which we will then be put into a position where we must guide ourselves. But until then we are being lead by the wind and it pulls us along as we pull much from it to power the vehicle of choice.

It seems that the speeds in which we travel are ones that are slow, but for now they are not when we are on the vehicle. We are moved at speeds that can be seen as rather fast, for they are in a sense when seen from certain angles and positions in life.

The ocean shall be our farm when necessary, but hopefully that does not need to be the case. It is not due to the content of the rich waters, but more for the desire to not expend the energy chasing those resources, as well as the desire to not consume those resources in the first place. There are plenty on our vehicle and with enough careful and measured use, they should help us last at least until we can be in a safe location of sorts.

Storms shall whip up the water into a fury and this is something that shall be navigated and bypassed as necessary. Of course, the hope is that this is something that can be avoided entirely, but there is no telling with the ways of the ocean and the phenomena above its surface.

The vehicle in question is not one to desire taking on a lot of water, so hopefully there is little water to take upon its being and it can get through the toughest of ordeals with ease.

Its design is sleek and sturdy and it allows the wind to guide it along with little difficulty. Sails are large and efficient and the winds are all too generous with the direction and force.

The difficulty will mostly lie in getting to the destination with enough time, assuming that nothing else arises of course. That said, of course the difficulty in getting to the destination should prove to be no difficulty at all. It is going to lie on good navigation and a good wind to carry us forward and not lead us astray.

We shall pull much from the wind as it guides us and we shall be directed toward the goals in which have been set forth. We shall be carried along and see to it that we have little to worry about as often as possible, but there shall be a lot of effort.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 07:09:25

Sometimes I really wonder about what I’ve written.

This probably could have been a little more adventurous, or something.

Written at home.
