City From the Trees

A shot taken from Balls Head.

I like the framing of this one. The plants might be a bit too dark, but it was a bit dark where I was standing.

The city is predominantly obscured, but still quite visible and present, just as it usually is from far more places than it should be.

There’s a contrast here. Maybe even a message. Not entirely certain.

This is my submission into The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge for this week.

The theme for this week is “Magical“.

The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:

Week 1 – Patti

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya

Week 3 – Amy

Week 4 – Tina

This week is hosted by Leya and next week’s will be hosted by Amy.

I recommend checking out the challenge to see how people interpret each theme.
I also recommend giving it a go.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
