Curvature

Train tracks near Waverton.

This is a bit of a duller, more muted photo.

Probably means I need to work on my light balance a bit more.

I think it helps to get across the idea of it being overcast, but there’s probably better ways to achieve the same thing.

I like how the tracks curve and how, among the plants there are a few buildings peeping out. The tracks are clear but disappear behind the plants, and the buildings seem unable to get away from them either.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s photo challenge for this week.

The theme for this one is “Travel”.

Whilst not the most prominent feature of the photo, I think the Sydney Harbour Bridge makes this photo count.

I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit into the challenge.

You can find the challenges here.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
