I think this photo feels impressionistic. Not in the sense of impressionism, but more that, due to how the photo was taken, it gives an impression of a sunset. Maybe it’s that it suggests the sunset. I don’t know.

It clearly is a sunset, but it’s rendered in a way that blurs the details. It makes the colour and light, and their placement more important to the image.

The colour shifts between hard and soft whilst the light spreads outs in lines.

On a side note, I tried cropping the photo but the cropping had a detrimental impact.
