A close-up of Even’s guitarist as he sings.
The same person as in this shot.
Before uploading here I ended up cropping this shot a fair bit due to how much of the microphone stand was in the shot whilst out of focus as it was heavily distracting. Should’ve used a smaller aperture, but I didn’t, so at least I can learn from the mistake.
Anyway, this shot feels moody to me. Moody and passionate.
There’s enough lack of visibility to allow for the mind to fill in the blanks, which is something I like.
This photo was taken for Culture Eater. You can find a review of The Dandy Warhols’ performance here and the corresponding gallery here. Please go check them out, as well as the other stuff that our contributors are contributing.
This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for this week.
I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit.
A lot of what people are submitting will likely end up here.
I hope you enjoy.
