I know very little about the behaviour of Intellagama lesueurii lesueurii.

I’d like to believe that they do prefer environments and surfaces in which they can blend in due to making it easy to escape predators and hunt prey. I think that this one was trying to blend in with this particular surface, which was a handrail made from rock.
