Transmission in the Field

This was taken during the drive from Sydney to Melbourne.

I like the contrast between the open field being vegetative, and the power lines and transmission towers being industrial, though considering the field is likely used for pastoral-related processes, it too could be considered industrial in a sense.

The clouds look quiet massive in this one, and they help to impose an implied darkening of the area, which in turn (in conjunction with the suggested dryness) creates a sort-of stark feel to the image.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
