Bee on the Bloom
Here’s another photo of my Prunus x blireana in bloom in this year, and like the other two shared thus far it also features a bee. I like working on growing my plants and I like seeing them thrive. Sometimes … Continue reading

Silk in a Breeze
Here’s another of the photos with fabric I took at some sand dunes. With this one I wanted to keep the focus on the silk and by pushing shadows so that the background disappeared I think I succeeded quite well. … Continue reading

Gradual From a Distance
From a distance the incline of this bit of fire trail doesn’t look too bad. I suppose walking it isn’t too bad either but it did feel pretty rough. I hope you enjoy.

A Night by The Opera House
I couple of nights ago I was walking around Sydney CBD with a friend taking photos, including the one below. I was trying to get a photo with the lower area prominent and The Sydney Opera House sort of looming … Continue reading

Floating Fabric
Another photo taken around the same time as these photos. This was one of the results of trying to capture a photo of the silk as it fell. It looks like it’s moving but it also looks still. I wasn’t … Continue reading
Working Bee
Another bee. Maybe the same bee as in this photo. I cannot remember. I feel as though the bee is hidden in a way here. It’s not, but it feels like it is. It also feels like a contrast against … Continue reading
Direction Up
I’m not sure why this silver gull did this particular pose. Then again, I may be remembering this incorrectly and it wasn’t so much a stop as it was a brief hold before completing the motion. I hope you enjoy.

Walking Silk
Another photo taken at the same time as these four photos. This one is a bit earlier in the set, when I was trying to get a shot of my partner walking toward where the camera was. I didn’t consider … Continue reading

Silver Gull Landing
A rather lucky photo, albeit one with what I feel is too much noise. I like how this sort of feels odd in a way. The gull feels like it’s more angular than usual, and as though its proportions are … Continue reading

PVC Pipes
This was taken whilst I was recently helping with something. I don’t think there’s anything particularly good about this photo, but I like it. Feels like a gathering of sorts. This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s “Monochrome Madness” for this … Continue reading
