Quruli: Army
One listen. This is a song I’d describe as being highly emotive, and it is. I tried to get some of that out but I feel I was unwilling to go far enough. Quruli’s (くるり) “Army” is from The World is … Continue reading
Akari Kaida and Yoshino Aoki: Can You See Clearly Now?
One listen. Just jumped in. Realised I didn’t have much to go on but went for whatever came forward. Bit messy, but I think I did alright. Definitely captured a sense of what the song feels like. Akira Kaida (海田 … Continue reading

Nitsua: Sunset
One listen. I’m really tired from moving stuff, and I’ve been meaning to do this for most of the day. Just forced myself and it’s a bit of a mess, but a lot came forward, which I’m happy about. Nitsua’s … Continue reading
Shota Kageyama: Soaring Illusions
One listen. I feel the start was strong, or at least had the potential to be strong and then I dropped the ball. I wrote about the last piece and this one together as they both represent the same thing, … Continue reading
Masafumi Takada: Department of Defense
One listen. I was caught off guard by the song ending. I’m not sure why I was expecting a longer song, though likely due to covering stuff that’s more than just over a minute. Alas. Anyway, I think I got … Continue reading

Ryota Kozuka: Kagome Tower
Two listens. Just tried to describe the song. I think I did okay, but I overthought and tried to get forward specific things rather than let the words flow. Ryota Kozuka’s (小塚良太)”Kagome Tower” is from the soundtrack for Shin Megami … Continue reading

Willebrant: Sands VIII (Skies)
One listen. This one was pretty straightforward. I feel that perhaps I didn’t write enough and I stretched for words, if that makes sense. This does give enough of an impression, but it’s quite a limited one. Willebrant’s “Sands VIII … Continue reading
Willebrant: Sands IV (Shadows)
One listen. I don’t think I did well in getting an idea of the song across with this one. I wrote it last night and sat on it mostly because I was tired. I’m okay with what I wrote, but … Continue reading

Clouds Moving Through
When I took this photo I wasn’t aiming to have clouds in it, I think. Kind of detrimentally impacts the scene, but I like it this way. I like that there’s a distracting element in view. I hope you enjoy.
