Shadows in the Bowl
Not much to say about this one. I think a sense of vastness comes through here, and the clouds create a sort of enclosed feel to the whole thing. Their shadows push focus to the centre, or at least roughly … Continue reading

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 1277: Forward Direction
And so it goes into another evening and in that evening things turn around and spin and it all blurs and smears in a way that expresses that which is not but only can be, but only when it no … Continue reading
Clearing in the Megalong
I think there’s a few other areas in this photo other than a part of The Megalong Valley. Not entirely sure. Anyway, I like how this almost looks like a drawing or a painting. I think it has a lot … Continue reading

A Poem About Shapes Moving Across the Sky
Just a quick and rough one. I like the imagery of this as well as the lack of knowing. Well, the idea of not knowing what something is or why it is doing what it is doing. I think I … Continue reading
Five-Hundred Word Challenge 839: Brought to you by a Potential Concussion
Alright, so anyway, it’s the afternoon and the shadows are yet to draw long, but I sit here and hope for the best and that they draw longer than usual in some manner that allows the reaching of a linking … Continue reading

Five-Hundred Word Challenge 685: The Craunch
Loud and with a crunch all is trampled underfoot. Perhaps it would be better to say that there was the process of craunching underway. It doesn’t matter too much, however, as this was merely one action of a series of … Continue reading
Space at the Quay
I can’t remember a time where I’ve seen Circular Quay this empty. In a way it’s nice as you can see more of its shape and design with ease, as well as get a sense for how far it stretches … Continue reading

Campsie Railway Station
I like the way that Campsie Railway Station appears in the afternoon. Not sure if this photo does a good job of capturing it, but I think that at the least it gives an idea. There’s a mix of the … Continue reading

Lurking in the Shadows
Here, a fish as seen at the Melbourne Aquarium. I like this photo for its ridiculous nature. It could be a villain in a horror film, but no; it’s just a fish. I hope you enjoy.
