Overcast Sydney CBD Shot
Still looks a little like a crown. I like that Goat Island is kind of in the way of the CBD. It adds a bit more depth to the photo. I think this photo gives a good idea of the … Continue reading
From Bush to Buildings
What I like about this photo is how parts of the background are covered, yet strongly suggested. To be fair, it’s mostly water, but I do like the effect. The clouds appear massive and the city small. The plants are … Continue reading

Station Frame
Taken at Ashfield Station. I think the fog kind of helps to draw focus to the structure in the foreground, but at the same time it doesn’t necessarily take away from what is in the background. I also like how … Continue reading

Macquarie Lighthouse
This is a Lighthouse. Not only is this a lighthouse, but it is a lighthouse I took a photo of recently. I like that in this shot, the lighthouse kind of feels both out of place and not. It breaks … Continue reading

Light Coming in
A place slowly becoming dilapidated. A place with a long history. Old and worn out, yet still standing strong. I like how the light from the windows is coming through onto the ground, bringing a lot of the debris and … Continue reading

Burwood Now
I imagine getting a shot closer to street level would’ve made for a better capturing. Now that I think about it, so would having taken a shot in an area that provided a more expansive view. This was taken when … Continue reading

Ageing Structure
It’s clear that it’s been a while since this area last saw some maintenance go into it. Not sure why someone would either put or leave material hanging over one of the girders. It’s a scene of an old place … Continue reading

Down Stairs
A room full of stairs. It’s something likely not worth ascending. I like that there’s some flora growing on some of the stairs. I also like how in their dilapidation they mach the walls pretty well. I hope you enjoy.
Wooden Frame
So many angles! So many lines! There’s a number of patterns here and all from the same material. I think that there’s a sense of the strength and integrity of the structure here. This building has not seen maintenance in … Continue reading
