What happened to train etiquette?

I just don’t understand what could be so hard about showing some form of etiquette when on a train.

Yesterday morning, I was on a crowded train whilst heading to work.
The train pulls into Central as it always does.
I get off the train to let people off, then get back on.
The train generally sits at Central for a few minutes each day so more people can catch it, as Central Station is the main train terminal of Sydney.
This guy comes running towards my carriage. My carriage is packed enough as it is, but he still gets on, slightly forcefully.
The train leaves Central annd pulls into Town Hall a few minutes later.

After the doors opened, there were a few seconds of nothing happening because this idiot wouldn’t move out of the way. Everyone exiting the train had to force their way around him at first until he realised he was in the way and decided to move further into the train whilst people are still getting off.

When the train pulled into Wynyard, I got off the train again so anyone getting off there would be able to. Commuters that were waiting for the train started getting on whilst people were still exiting.

It’s not only this though.

So many times, when there’s a three seater, there will be two people on it with the space between them unoccupied. Somewhat fair enough. When other people get on? They either don’t slide over or don’t get up for you to take the space. You have to squeeze around them.

Although somewhat acceptable on a packed train, it is uncommon to have someone stand up and move out of the way when you’re sitting down on the inside of a seat, so you can get off the train. A good portion of the time, you have to step over them.

I don’t understand why people don’t feel as though they should move out of the way to let someone off a train, or why they feel the need to try and get on a train whilst people are getting off.

Maybe etiquette is no longer in style.
