Fisherman

I was going through old photos again as currently my camera is being cleaned, so I haven’t had much opportunity to go exploring with it.

Here is a photo I took in 2012.

It was the first time in a good number of years that I had gone bush walking, so I went to the Royal National Park with Ewe.

It was a wonderful experience that I found to be quite refreshing.

We headed down to Burning Palms and went for a swim there as well as a bit of wandering along the beach.

We saw a fisherman so I decided to take a few photos of him fishing.

This was taken just beore he started moving away from the wave in the photo.

I think it’s interesting that people will put themselves in dangerous situations to do things.

I also think it’s interesting that being amongst nature can be such a calming experience, as well as sobering when you think about how powerful nature is.

When I think about this photo, I think about how small they are compared to what is around them. I also think about how decisive their stance is.

It is almost saying that they will not be deterred.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
