Here’s a stump I saw last week when I was going to do the last bit of the bushwalk from Mount Kuring-gai to Berowra.
I like how, despite looking like it’s starting to decay, it still seems rather strong in a way that suggests that it’s not weakening.
I also like how it’s shaped and the different texture on it.
