Ending Sunset

I took quite a lot of photos of the sunset at Smiths Lake.

Here’s one where I had the f-stops set too low so I had to readjust the exposure in processing.

The first shot is one where I’ve attempted to make it look impressionistic, whereas the second one is much closer to how the light was at the time of shooting.

I like both of these versions. I think that they show the scene quite well, they both give a good idea of the atmosphere and I think that there’s a good balance of detail in each.
