Darling Harbour at Night

This was taken last night during the lengthy and scenic walk that Ewe and I went on to get home.

I’m surprised that, given my state last night, I was able to get the shot as well as I did.

In the first version, I really like how the colours come through with the varying light levels. It feels a bit warm and the people becoming blurs due to this being a long exposure works well with the scene as it had been raining heavily during parts of the day.

In the second, I like that the area feels somewhat cold and uninviting despite being a very social precinct. I also think that it feels and looks quite artificial, which was unintentional as this is very close to how it looked when I took the photo.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

  1. I like the second image teh best. The lights are brighter…more alive and vibrant. It’s a great vantage point.
