Here’s a shot that I took during the recent camping trek.
This is the same location as this one.
Ewe and I had reached the end of part of the walk and decided to take a brief break.
Of course that meant that I got a little snap happy.
There’s a calm and quiet to this photo, I think.
It probably has to do with the expanse of the land against a clear, empty sky.
I like that you can see the different levels of land as well as the water in the distance.
I also like how well some of the smaller details come through.
This is my submission for Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness this week.
As this was the first M.M. for the month, it was themed.
The theme was “Seasons”.
It might not be an obvious winter, but this still does show The Jamison Valley (well, part of it) in winter, albeit just past the point where it would be at its coldest.
I strongly recommend checking out Monochrome Madness and, if you partake in photography or have an interest in taking it up, then I also recommend submitting something. It’s a small, yet strong community-driven event that I honestly believe is worth the time.
I hope you enjoy.
