Here’s a shot taken at the University of New South Wales toward the end of a day of rigorous study.
I’m not sure as to why the glass was put into this shape.
Perhaps because it looks fancy.
I think that the glass contrasts well with the slightly more rigid structures if the buildings that it is between.
I also think that the colours of the sun create a nice warmth in this photo.
