A photo of a wharf at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science.
I think that there’s a nice calm and simplicity to this photo.
There’s some detail, but otherwise I think this image is straightforward and simple, with some nice patterns.
This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.
If you’re a fan of monochrome photography on any level, then I recommend checking out Monochrome Madness and I also recommend considering submitting if you do photography.
I also recommend checking out Leanne Cole’s work outside of Monochrome Madness.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

The light and tones in the B&W version are wonderful en mon avis.

I think the monochrome version did turn out better, but I do think that the coloured version has its own charms.

It does indeed, but when Black & White is done this well…why bother with the color version? Just sayin’. 🙂

I like the colour version and I think it’s worth sharing, hence my bothering 🙂
