Leans in to Take the Food
A “Cheeky” cockatoo goes in to get a bite whilst the other one is preoccupied. I really like the form and pose of both the cockatoos in this photo. I also like how they’re framed and their colouring. This is … Continue reading
Back from Turtle Field Trip
Well, I am back from doing field work with turtles on an island, which was a rather satisfactory experience, I must say. Much work at night, little sleep, plenty of activities, some lectures, some presentations, walking, turtles, walking, turtlwes, walkgin, … Continue reading
The Road Stretches Forward
On the drive back from the Marine Science field trip I had an opportunity to take a photo of this long stretch of road. The road stretches forward, only curving right at the end, dipping out of view before rising … Continue reading

Two Boats
A cruise ship docked as a ferry passes it as it heads to one of the wharfs at Circular Quay. I like the difference in size in this photo. I also like that the cruise ship obscures a fair bit … Continue reading
Transmission Tower by the Highway
Taken on the drive back from the marine science field trip. A tall transmission tower that stands over everything in the area as clouds in an open sky frame its structure. I hope you enjoy.

Just past Sydney Harbour Bridge
I think that this photo gives a good idea of the massiveness of Sydney Harbour Bridge. It’s smaller than some other bridges out there, but it is still a massive structure. In this photo I do like that it appears … Continue reading
