Moving in Multiple Directions
This was taken at the same time as these photos. I didn’t include this one with those as it didn’t quite fit. Still, I like the result here. There’s a good deal of disturbance on the stuff covering the water. … Continue reading

A Great Amount of Green
A lot of green in this photo. Perhaps more green than birds. Not sure what to say on this one. Pretty happy with the angle; not so much the view of this small bit of environment. Too much cover on … Continue reading
Leaving Water
A photo I took of a black swan leaving water to look for food… I think. I feel this would have worked better taken at a lower position. I’ve made the swan look smaller than it is, I think. I … Continue reading

Underside Revealed
Same duck as the one I shared yesterday. I think monochrome worked really well with this duck. Probably just the right conditions for it to do so, which I guess means that was the definite. Anyway, I really like this … Continue reading

Within Ripples
Probably because the duck is creating them. I think monochrome worked really well for this photo and I think that has a bit to do with the overall lighting. Also, it almost looks like the duck is sitting at a … Continue reading

Birds on Bare Branches
Birds in a tree from what I can see. I’ve taken a photo of this tree before but I can’t see if I’ve shared said photo here. Maybe I haven’t. Anyway, there’s a bit of space in this photo and … Continue reading

Moving Through Water
A photo of what I believe is a dusky moorhen (Gallinula tenebrosa) moving through water. Not much to say about it, but I do like the shape of the water around the bird. I hope you enjoy.

Swan Bathing
When I took this photo it was the first time I’d seen a swan bathe in this manner. It almost looks like it’s coming to surface rather than floating there. Almost. I had to crop a lot of this photo … Continue reading
Sleeping Goose
Last week I saw a goose sleeping. Decided to take a photo, as evidenced by the photo below. This is my submission into the one hundred-and-ninety-eighth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. The theme for this one is “Light and Shadow“. The host of … Continue reading
