Face at Front, Shadow at Back
From this angle the skull looks a little more goofy, I think. This was taken around the same time as yesterday’s photo. With this one I was trying to align so that it appeared larger and a little more behind … Continue reading

Skull Flowers
Last week I’d planned to take some photos using a bike torch as a light source. I’m still going to take those photos but that was postponed to take a photo of this skull vase with flowers. I went in … Continue reading

Breaking Flow
I’m pretty sure that vegetation is caught on something under the surface. I’m not completely certain, but I’m pretty sure. I like how this disturbs the water. Sure, there are a few waves around, but this seems to cut through … Continue reading

Light Cloud Reflection
I’m fairly certain that I took this photo due to the clouds being reflected on the ocean. It’s not something I see often and so I wanted to capture it as best I could. Probably could’ve done better with a … Continue reading

Structure Among the Clouds
Another photo of one of the buildings in yesterday’s photo. Maybe it’s overly dramatic; I don’t know, but there’s something about the way the building appears against the sky that appeals to me. I hope you enjoy.

Pelican: An Inch Above Sand
This one I’d queued up a few days ago. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get something out of the song but apparently I did. A bit more descriptive of how the song proceeds which is not quite … Continue reading

Nighttime Port Work
Here’s a long exposure of the slight variety. I was trying to capture the port in a certain way and it didn’t quite work out, but I do like how the light trails almost look like they aren’t. I hope … Continue reading

Underside Revealed
Same duck as the one I shared yesterday. I think monochrome worked really well with this duck. Probably just the right conditions for it to do so, which I guess means that was the definite. Anyway, I really like this … Continue reading

Nothing: The Great Dismal
I wrote most of this kind of recently. I think I finished a draft around a month ago. Then I got Covid and so I was only able to finish this off now. There was a fair bit of negativity … Continue reading

Bright Buildings at the Bay
Here is a photo of some buildings as seen at a certain time of day with a certain amount of cloud cover, and also a certain amount of stillness on the water’s surface. This was taken around the same time … Continue reading
