A Pod of Pelicans

Here’s some photos taken on Wednesday during the recent field trip to Smiths Lake.

They were hanging around two fishermen. They could have been waiting for some spare food, or they could have been there due to a high concentration of fish. I’m not sure.

In a way, these pelicans appear to be just “A Face in the Crowd” among themselves.

I like their formation in each of these photos as I think that they have a good spread.

I also like that they (mostly) seem to follow each other.

This is my submission into The Daily Post‘s photo challenge for this week.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
