Darling Harbour, Mid-morning

And here we are with a photo of Darling Harbour!

HOW WONDERFUL!

I was walking to the shops from the city when this was taken.

It’s a photo of Darling Harbour. There’s only so many times you can say that Darling Harbour is interesting, or beautiful, or whatever until you get to a point where the novelty wears off as there’s plenty of better places to visit, such as anywhere that’s not a city, but I digress.

To me, this is one of the few times that Darling Harbour appears to be a relaxing place to be as it was fairly relaxing there at the time. There wasn’t much foot traffic and there wasn’t much noise.

I think that the light tone and details help enforce this as they are strong enough to show the scene well, but not so strong that they become intense.

I also think that the differing types of clouds further help to soften the image.

This is my entry into Leanne Cole‘s Monochrome Madness for this week.
As the first M.M. of each month is themed, this one had the theme of “Relaxation”.

I recommend checking out Monochrome Madness, as well as Leanne Cole’s work.
I also recommend that you consider participating. It’s been going for a few years and it’s a good way to be involved with a small, fun community.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
