A tree that has grown away from St Kilda Beach.
I find myself wondering as to how much this has to do with coastal winds.
The tree looks massive and strong, and has some strong leaf growth on it, I think.
However, some of the branches appear to be a bit bare.
Despite the cold, this would have been a good spot to have some “time to relax“.
This is my submission into the first Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
In the wake of The Daily Post‘s photo challenge a few people have banded together to keep the weekly challenges going. The one that I’m following will be hosted by these four in alternating cycles:
Week 1 – Patti of https://pilotfishblog.com/
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya of https://lagottocattleya.wordpress.com/
Week 3 – Amy of https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/
Week 4 – Tina of https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com/
I suggest following and considering participating, but also seeing how other people have responded to the photo challenge from The Daily Post ending.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

I’m not entirely sure but I think the reason why some trees grow like this is due to being able to retain greatest amount of strength and health.

You captured this beautiful tree and its shape beautifully!
Thank you for joining us. I’m on the road, so wifi is very slow…. Sorry for the late response. 🙂
