Growth Around the Banksia
Here’s a photo of a banksia. Vegetation grows around it and it serves as a memory of an area affected by bushfires. This is my submission into the two hundred-and-thirty-second Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. The theme for this one is “Looking … Continue reading

In Sunset’s Shadow
Another of this tree, though with more space and more of an atmospheric and perhaps sad feeling. I like photos like this and I think it is in part due to the minimalism and in part due to the weight … Continue reading

Interweaving Silhouette
Yesterday after work I made a trip out to Balls Head Reserve, or at least near it in order to see the sunset. Missed a bit of it but still was able to get a good view of the changing … Continue reading

Overcast Bloom
I took a bit of the saturation out of this photo and I’m not entirely sure why. I think it was due to trying to create something kind of dramatic, or at least somewhat moody. I know this is more … Continue reading
Prunus Branches
A bit of a dramatic and moody photo of Prunus x blireana doing its flowering thing. I’d meant to capture this one when the sky was clearer and I did, but not with my camera. Alas, the best photos of … Continue reading

Silhouette at Sunset
This photo was taken almost a month ago whilst going for a walk around my area. This is a pretty simple photo and I like it that way. Maybe the shift in the sky’s light level is a bit stronger … Continue reading

Birds on Bare Branches
Birds in a tree from what I can see. I’ve taken a photo of this tree before but I can’t see if I’ve shared said photo here. Maybe I haven’t. Anyway, there’s a bit of space in this photo and … Continue reading
